Radiation in computed tomography (CT) refers to the use of X-rays to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body. These X-rays are a form of ionizing radiation, which means they have enough energy to remove tightly bound electrons from atoms, leading to potential damage to cells and DNA. While the amount of radiation used in CT scans is carefully controlled and kept as low as possible, repeated exposure to ionizing radiation can increase the risk of cancer. Therefore, it is important for healthcare providers to weigh the benefits of a CT scan against the potential risks of radiation exposure for each individual patient. **

The geometric parameters of computed tomography include the field of view (FOV), which determines the size of the area being imaged; the slice thickness, which is the thickness of each cross-sectional image; the pixel size, which determines the resolution of the images; and the rotation angle, which is the angle at which the X-ray tube rotates around the patient to acquire images from different angles. These parameters play a crucial role in determining the quality and accuracy of the images produced by the CT scanner. **

The geometry parameters of computed tomography (CT) include the source-to-detector distance, source-to-object distance, and object-to-detector distance. These parameters determine the magnification and resolution of the CT images. Additionally, the angle of rotation and the number of projections acquired during the CT scan also affect the geometry of the imaging process. Proper calibration and adjustment of these parameters are crucial for obtaining accurate and high-quality CT images. **

The news reports on natural disasters because they have a significant impact on people's lives, communities, and the environment. By providing information about natural disasters, news reports can help people prepare for and respond to these events, potentially saving lives and minimizing damage. Additionally, news reports can raise awareness about the need for disaster preparedness and response efforts, as well as the importance of addressing climate change to mitigate the frequency and severity of natural disasters. Overall, news reports on natural disasters play a crucial role in informing and mobilizing the public to address these critical issues. **

The Casio fx-991DE X does not have a built-in function for the simplex algorithm for linear optimization. However, it is possible to manually perform the steps of the simplex algorithm using the calculator's matrix and equation solving functions. The user can input the coefficients of the objective function and the constraints into matrices, and then use the calculator to perform the necessary matrix operations and equation solving steps to iteratively improve the solution until the optimal values are found. While this process may be more time-consuming than using specialized software or a computer program, it is still possible to use the Casio fx-991DE X to perform the simplex algorithm for linear optimization. **

It is difficult to determine which US news channel reports most objectively as objectivity can be subjective and vary depending on individual perspectives. However, some news channels that are often cited for their efforts towards objectivity include PBS NewsHour, BBC World News America, and C-SPAN. These channels are known for their in-depth reporting, fact-checking, and efforts to present multiple perspectives on a given issue. Ultimately, it is important for viewers to consume news from a variety of sources and critically evaluate the information presented. **

It is difficult to determine which US news channel reports the most objectively, as objectivity can be subjective and influenced by individual perspectives. However, some viewers consider PBS NewsHour to be one of the most objective news channels due to its in-depth analysis, balanced reporting, and commitment to providing diverse viewpoints. Additionally, BBC World News, while not a US news channel, is often praised for its objective reporting and global perspective. Ultimately, it is important for viewers to critically evaluate multiple sources and perspectives to form their own informed opinions. **
